Descrizione principale
Introduction Esca is one of the earliest described diseases in grapevines that cause trunk damages and sudden wilting of the entire plant. It is known that esca is caused mainly by species Phaeoacremonium chlamydospora and Phaeoacremonium aleophilum. However, there are no known curative approaches for fighting with esca directly. Novel approaches and agents for solving the problem can be provided by developing innovative fibrous polymer membranes containing biologically active chemical fungicides.
