Main description (English)
The current research aims to know (the effect of the guidance program using the stress immunization method in reducing professional burnout among teachers). The research community is defined as teachers of government (intermediate and preparatory) schools for morning studies in the Yathrib Education Department, affiliated with the General Directorate of Education in Salah al-Din Governorate - for the academic year (2023-2024 AD). The sample for the statistical analysis of the professional burnout scale amounted to (400) teachers who were selected using the stratified random method. The sample of the guidance program amounted to (20) teachers who were intentionally selected. The researchers adopted the professional burnout scale prepared by (Jassim, 2021 AD) consisting of (22) paragraphs. Then the psychometric properties of the scale were verified, and the researchers designed a guidance program according to the guidance method (immunization against stress) based on Meichenbaum's cognitive behavior modification theory. The guidance program consisted of (14) guidance sessions in which the researchers used a set of appropriate statistical methods to process the research data. At the end of the study, the researchers concluded that the program had proven its effect in reducing professional burnout among teachers. In light of the results, the researchers came up with a number of recommendations and proposals.
